How to show uploaded image after upload?

I have created an island which posts to a route and then save the image to the file system with following snippet

Then in my Island i want to show those uploaded images like so

{getImagePaths().map((path) => (
  <img
    src={path}
  />
))}

But i always get a 404 not found. After restarting the app i can actually hardcode the image paths and it shows them correctly.

Any ideas what i am doing wrong?
