How to use get() inside a set(), to call the "previous" value?

I'm on Deployer 6.9.0 and I'm overriding the bin/composer to use local composer.phar:

set('bin/composer', function () {
    if (test('[ -f {{deploy_path}}/composer.phar ]')) {
        $composer = '{{bin/php}} {{release_path}}/composer.phar';
    }

    // The following is from original bin/composer
    // I would like to return the original value instead of copy/paste the code
    if (empty($composer)) {
        $composer = locateBinaryPath('composer');
    }

    if (empty($composer)) {
        run("cd {{release_path}} && curl -sS https://getcomposer.org/installer | {{bin/php}}");
        $composer = '{{bin/php}} {{release_path}}/composer.phar';
    }

    return $composer;
});

How can I return the original bin/composer value from inside set?

I think this is not possible to get previous value inside the get. I think we can add such api in the future.
