Can't change directory with cd command

Very simple task:

task('test', function () {
    run('ls');
    run('mkdir -p test');
    run('cd test');
    run('ls');
});

I run it with vendor/bin/dep test -vvv

First ls show me home directory files, but the second is the same list. Folder test is created, but I can't go into it.

The same situation when I change run('cd test'); to run('cd {{deploy_path}}');. Output:

[host] run cd ~/public_html/mysite.com

But the directory does not change. Why?

But why run('cd test'); doesn't work?
