Just as a reminder for myself, and also in case anyone wants to leave feedback:

It's probably sensible for travelynx to have a manual checkin feature, as in:

user enters start/stop station, time, and optionally route
travelynx shows that the user is checked in both in the status view and in their proifel
user is automatically checked out when they reach their destination

This should help alleviate future API issues. I plan to add it eventually, just don't ask me when :)
