While starting VRipper I got an error message "Failed to launch JVM", the VRipper does not start.
Any suggestions about how to solve the problem?

It may be due to AV/Internet Security software flagging and whacking the program. I recently got a similar looking error message and the program kept not starting due to "corrupt files" and then I tried to do a repair with the installer and it got nailed by my McAfee software, with the message that the installer and VRipper.exe was infected with "cached!c4a62eda", which means the program was yanked into quarantine. I managed to figure out that this a very recent thing with other AV programs as well, flagging installers and apps with a similar threat designation in the last several weeks.
