A publicly reachable calendar for each apartment showing the availability should be available that can be e.g. integrated as iframe into the own website.

There are, btw, some workarounds. Some CMS do have for example plugins, which can show availability based on an ical calendar. From my point of view, this feature would only make really sense, if there is directly a possibility to make a new reservation/make a request.

iCal Export is already possible.
Here, the intention is to make it possible to add reservations. See also #71
