USB Audio Output Support

Looks like the alsa modules for USB audio (speakers and etc) are not included.... I am going to try and complile them and gotchas I should be aware of?

Is there any way to get the usb audio kernel modules added to your next release ?

If you know exactly which kernel configs you need I could add them.

Problem is that you'll probably need the drivers for many USB sound cards, which makes the kernel package quite big while these boxes all have internal sound cards. And that is where these images are made for.

Ok I am trying to get audio out over the AV jack and not hdmi ... I have a case where I need to use an external audio amp and that is why I was asking... I read that the av jacks probably wont work ...

Some of them do with the right ALSA settings, but I don't know anything about ALSA...

The amixer Simple Control for the 3.5mm audio jack is called 'ACODEC'.

1. Edit /etc/asound.conf with
