When invoking smog like this:

./smog -p 1000 -t 2 -k pp

The program complains with the output

If the pointerchase kernel is used, put it at the beginning because. Just this kernel is initialized and pointer chase needs shuffling.

Since the pointerchase kernel (p) is indeed at the beginning, the error should not appear.
