joinVoiceChannel never reaches "then" promise method

Hi everyone!
I'm trying to code a bot but I have the issue described in the title: joinVoiceChannel never reaches "then" promise method

I have this code inside the $discord->on('ready') function and I can see the "outside" message but It will never print inside...

if ($channel) {
  if ($channel->type == 2) {
    echo "outside" . PHP_EOL;
    $discord->joinVoiceChannel($channel)->then(function(VoiceClient $voiceClient) {
      echo "inside" . PHP_EOL; 
    })->done();
  }
}

• No errors on the terminal so far.
• I've included "use Discord\Voice\VoiceClient;" on top of my PHP file.
• The bot joins the channel correctly every time I run the code

I don't know what to check anymore... can someone point me in the right direction?

Updating to dev-master fixes this.
