Name:

District Silicon Valley

Purpose:

District Silicon Valley is a decentralized district designed to facilitate collaboration between project (e.g. crowdsales, token launches and other) creators and experienced agents who can provide essential support in launching and sustaining projects. By fostering a symbiotic relationship, the district aims to empower project owners to bring their visions to life while rewarding agents for their valuable contributions. Furthermore, District Silicon Valley actively incentivizes users to acquire, hold, and stake DNT (District0x Network Token), fostering community engagement and alignment of interests.

Description:

District Silicon Valley operates as a decentralized consultancy and support platform within the District0x network. Project creators in Silicon Valley and beyond can use the platform as a middleman to post requests for assistance in various aspects, including marketing, development, community building, and fundraising within the scope of creation or maintenance of a crypto related project. The platform serves as a dynamic marketplace where experienced agents, in true Silicon Valley style, can apply or bid for the roles needed by the projects. To post a request on the platform, project creators must allocate and lock up certain amount of project tokens for the agents and a portion for DNT stakers in a smart contract, ensuring commitment and aligning incentives. Proposed reward model is 50% of the allocation goes to the agents and 50% are airdropped to DNT stakers.

Upon posting a request, agents with the necessary expertise can browse available projects and submit their applications or bids. This bidding process ensures a competitive environment, allowing project creators to select the most suitable agents for their specific needs. The locked token allocation is released only upon successful collaboration, creating a trustless and mutually beneficial environment for both project creators and agents.

To participate in the governance of District Silicon Valley, users must stake and hold DNT tokens, giving them voting rights to influence important decisions such as the allocation mechanism, fee structures, and the overall direction of the district. This democratic approach ensures that the community, especially DNT stakers, plays a pivotal role in shaping the platform's evolution.

For further development, if there appears traction to the district, there is possibility to integrate launchpad and other services for turnkey crowdsale services where DNT holders are rewarded in the aforementioned way.
