Is your enhancement related to a problem?

I am a big fan of a clean, clear gameplay expierence, meaning minimal hud.
for DUI, I was able to reduce opacity for most entries except the Squadmember list next to the Squad Rader.

Solution you'd like:

Opacity Control for the Namelist next to the rader.

Alternatives you've considered:

An Fade In/Fade Out solution upon keypress, for example, Windows Key.
(ace uses it, i know, but since you basically open an interface with that, it wouldnt hurt here.
Alternative "J" as it is used for the Task List / Player List (2x J).

A fade for the names is currently not in, correct.

It is however possible to have DUI not shown on start and enable it on keypress.

Currently a fade in and out button is not planned.

opacity slider would be great, that way it would be feasible to have it without grabbing so much attention.
