Books aren't being matched if it has a subtitle (after a colon)

I've noticed that books with a subtitle (formatted as Title: Subtitle) aren't being matched automatically. When I try and match them, it will initially show no results. I have to go in and remove the colon and everything after it to get the match to show up in search. Is there any way to fix this (other than manually matching all of the effected books)? Also, I know for most of these books the title tag in the file doesn't contain the subtitle, but the album tag does. Is there any way to get the metadata agent to look at the title tag instead of the album tag?
