Ziggo Sync Party

Chrome extension to easily let you sync the start times of Ziggo shows with your friends.

No ads, no queues, no login, no lag. Free and open source.

This is a fork of the netflix-sync-party plugin

Installation

Install from the Chrome Web Store

You can install the extension by visiting its page on the Chrome Web Store

Install the developer version directly from GitHub

This is useful if you want to mess with the code and add/remove features

  1. Git clone from the repo page
  2. Open the Extension Management page within Chrome by navigating to chrome://extensions
    • The Extension Management page can also be opened by clicking on the Chrome menu, selecting Settings then selecting Extensions.
  3. Enable Developer Mode by clicking the toggle switch next to Developer mode.
  4. Click the LOAD UNPACKED button and select the extension folder within the release you downloaded.

FAQ

Do you support chat?

The extension doesn't support video or text chat, since external services almost certainly do that better, and you'll probably have a chat that you use to plan your party anyway.

Do you support syncing across multiple episodes?

We currently don't support syncing across multiple episodes, but you can easily generate a new link once the new episode starts.
