0.5.1 release notes

We have a few interesting changes coming in and we decided to increase dlt version to 0.5 which is a major release in our versioning scheme. Changes that can be considered breaking are just a few and in may be important for people accessing library internals and building advanced data platforms with it.

ETA: first week of July

We will be announcing alpha releases, details at the bottom.

  • wi'll update orjson dependency range
  • upsert merge strategy using MERGE SQL statement will be available (Add upsert merge strategy #1466)

Alpha release: 0.5.1a0
