On my Onyx Boox Note Air, (Android 10) ADSdroid v1.7.2, installed via F-Droid, does not download the actual PDF but only a HTML file that seems to wrap the "pdf.js" reader. This file is then saved with a ".pdf" extension (but obviously cannot be opened with a PDF viewer).
