Known Upstream Issues

These are problems in libraries that are already being handled here in an acceptable manner. But ideally they would be fixed upstream so we can get rid of the weird quirks that are needed to deal with it. This meta-issue tracks all of those issues so those upstream bugs can be monitored and new issues can be created in this repo when they are fixed.
