Hey

What do you guys think about a mail list?
@diasdavid @pierreozoux
Groups.io is an excellent service we can use for free

I built a prototype for DevOps Portugal here:
https://devopsportugal.groups.io/g/Portugal

We can accomplish something similar in under 1h.

Background for my pick:

oh nice! Always wanted for a open service to replace mailman and google groups. Down to try it out.

@pierreozoux might have a way to host it at indie hosters in a sweet container :)

This one is actually a free hosted service. Probably inside its Mailman or something alike.

Not sure if I like the lock-in then :(

Just had a quick look and looks like lock-in indeed.

Nowadays, I always recommend discourse over
mailing list. It's beautiful and pretty web interface, mobile and so on.
And for email lovers, you can do it also.

I use it for https://forum.indoe.host and https://dd.indie.host (among
other projects).
If there is the need, I could host an instance for Docker Lisbon.
