Question: motivation for by-index list initialization

However, it's just unrealistic. What are real world examples where this feature is necessary, and why not achieve same results using other language features?

If you wish to discuss things with people, then behavior matters.

I'd prefer the level where we discuss examples of the code rather than personalities, if possible.

You're welcome to prefer that. I prefer discussing things with people who can do so in a pleasant fashion. C'est la vie.

No it wouldn't. Discord is searchable and indexed and people find and comment on threads from well in teh past plenty of times. :)

It's much more conducive to this form of rapid-fire back and forth that you're doing here :)
