Description

As you scroll down, you would automatically jump back to the top of the list.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Deploy https://devdiv.visualstudio.com/Pkgs/_git/VS.TestAssets.Xaml?path=/Assets/Projects/ManualMauiTests to Windows.
2. Navigate to 'I CollectionView' ->'I9 Scrolling' -> 'Incremental loading on scroll'.
3. Scroll down and observe that you jump back to the top of the list.

Actual Behavior:
As you scroll down, you would automatically jump back to the top of the list.

Expected Behavior:
It shouldn't jump back to the top of the list as it loads the next items.

Is this a regression from previous behavior?

Not a regression. This issue can be reproduced on 9.0.50, 9.0.30, 9.0.0 and 8.0.100.

This issue has been verified using Visual Studio 17.14.0, Maui version (9.0.60) in Windows platform.

• As per the documentation when new items are added, CollectionView defaults to ItemsUpdatingScrollMode="KeepItemsInView", which scrolls to keep the first item visible. This behavior functions correctly on the Windows platform.

• This appears to be issue on other platforms, that has already been reported: Issue #26810. The proposed fix is addressed in the following PR: PR #27153, which ensures consistent behavior across platforms, aligning it with the expected behavior observed on the Windows platform.

• To maintain the current scroll position during incremental loading, use ItemsUpdatingScrollMode="KeepScrollOffset", which prevents automatic scrolling by maintaining the existing scroll offset.
