How to retrieve the project manifest relative to a symbol?

I'm thinking of implementing a documentation generator for Visual Basic, but I'm not sure whether what I'm guessing is possible.

My goal would be to implement a global API documentation host for Visual Basic using probably Docker containers, but I need to be able to, independent of that host, be able to specify which host that symbols belonging to external code (that is, NuGet dependencies for example) will use.

Ah, found the Roslyn API back. Got a little lost, but found that a ContainingAssembly field is in there.

But I did not find Version yet.
