preload next song

Hi, I did check this player out. I like it a lot. I am using a old computer as a subsonic server. I did notice when the title is endet it starts loading the next title. So over the network and the slow performance from my server it allways produce a gap. May you can find a solution to preload the next title? I did notice this when the server transcript to mp3. When I am play the song without transcript is on it works.

The MPV player backend does start loading the next song before the first one is finished, but I guess in your case the combo of transcoding + network + slow hardware it doesn't preload soon enough. I don't think there's a way to tell MPV to begin the preloading even earlier.

One solution might be to download ahead of time the next track as soon as the previous one starts playing, but I think the download would have to fully complete before playing it, since I don't think MPV can seek in a partially-downloaded file. Something to think about at least

I did move the subsonic on a newer hardware. Now it works like a charme. Thanks
