lid: c-compiler-options: keyword?

I might as well throw this one out:
In the lid file, we have a linker-options: keyword and a c-source-files: keyword, is there any chance of c-compiler-options: ?

I'm thinking about a situation where some #define XYZ might provide some optional changes/inclusions in the c files that one might want
