Topics

Attendees are free to work on what they want, but a couple of topics of interest are typically attached to each hackathon. The intention is to have discussions on these topics, and that some attendees work on these issues:

  • getting started with EasyBuild and Lmod
  • further improving integration between EasyBuild and Lmod
  • further enhancing Lmod
  • EasyBuild support for creating packages (RPMs, etc.)
  • EasyBuild/Lmod on Cray systems

  • Maali is a software build and installation tool similar to EasyBuild
  • 9.30am - 10am: Introduction to Spack (Todd Gamblin)

  • Spack is a flexible package manager designed to support multiple versions, configurations, platforms, and compilers, developed at LLNL.
