Keeping notebook repos in sync with the template repo is a pain. Consider writing a script which:

  • Opens a PR
  • Updates the first line in the Dockerfile
  • Updates (or falls back to diffing) requirements.in
  • Updates github actions
  • Updates DEVELOPER.md and related docs
  • Updates config/ and conftest.py
  • Pushes (and hence runs tests)

This could potentially be a manually-triggered Github action itself.
