Display of nested parts and ports/interfaces on Interconnection Diagram

What triggers/controls the display of nested parts and their ports/interfaces on the Interconnection View (as shown in the v2 Language Spec (Figure 63 in example section A.5). Is this capability currently supported in SysON?

There are several possibilities to display nested parts in the Interconnection View:

1. Drag & drop the part from the Explorer view to the Interconnection View diagram.
   It only works if you d&d the part at the right level in the hierarchy.
   In your example, Tim couldn't be d&d from the Explorer view into the graphical element MartinTimCo Context in the diagram.
   But MartinTimCo could, because it is at the right level of the hierarchy.

2. Use the Related elements > Add existing nested elements tool from the context menu (a.k.a the palette)
   The tool will add the children elements but not the children of the children.
   In your example, if you call the tool from the graphical element MartinTimCo Context in the diagram, this will add MartinTimCo and Primary Customer to the diagram, but not their children.

3. Use the Related elements > Add existing nested elements (recursive) tool from the context menu (a.k.a the palette)
   The tool will add the children elements and their children recursively.
   In your example, if you call the tool from the graphical element MartinTimCo Context in the diagram, this will add MartinTimCo and Primary Customer to the diagram, and also Martin and Tim.
   We just have a small issue with this version of the tool. Martin and Tim will be added to the diagram but they won't be displayed because the compartments of MartinTimCo will be hidden. So you'll have to reveal the compartments of MartinTimCo with the Show/Hide > Show all content or Show/Hide > Show valued content tool.

I was able to display the child parts within the Interconnection View, though not without quite a bit of trial and error and interim anomalies. At first only one child part was displayed and attempts to d&d the other part to the parent compartment gave an error message that it was already display (when still invisible). During resizing of the parent part, all ports and interfaces were lost - they were eventually displayed after several failed Show All operations. My somewhat fixed diagam is attached.

I'll attempt to create (bind?) the ports on the nested parts next.
