Cannot find the cut clip file after crop/encode: is it working?

Windows 10, installed on latest version available as of 4/7/2024 (I am unable to check the version number exactly - not sure how to do so)

Description

When I try to crop or encode a video, all the commands are showing correctly on the screen. To generate a clip, I open the Shift+w menu, then press C to start a crop, then press ENTER when I want the crop to be generated. However, no video file is generated after I press ENTER.

Man, I tried to do this but I was not able to generate it correctly. Please bear with me, I am not the most savy with this stuff. I hope you have a way to help me regardless. Thank you for your patience.
