Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
The previous iOS Element application could prompt you to resize your image before uploading. This feature is missing from Element X. A lot of images are large-sized these days and take a long time to send and receive. The original full size is not necessary for the majority of my needs, which is I just want someone to have a look -- they aren't going to keep it.

Describe the solution you'd like

  1. There should be a general settings option to enable or disable the media resize prompt.
  2. At the time you choose to upload a supported media format, you will be asked if you'd like to resize to either Small, Medium, Large, or Original, and show estimated sizes in KB or MB.

Describe alternatives you've considered
Automatically resize static media formats to < 5 MB, as needed, unless option is disabled in general settings.

Additional context
I am often in areas with weak network signal, and multi-megabyte media downloads are then frustrating. An image sized between 200 KB - 400 KB is almost always good enough on a mobile-sized screen.

👋 thanks for rasing the point. We are already aware of it and it will be handled cross platform in element-hq/element-meta#2543. I'll close this ticket in favor of that one.
