“Settings” and “Start Chat” inaccessible on iPad

Steps to reproduce

The tappable profile photo icon and the “Start Chat” buttons, which are visible on iPhone, are nowhere to be seen on iPad.

It is therefore not possible to open settings, join rooms, start DMs or even log out from an iPad.

Outcome

Either for common interface elements to be visible on both platforms, or to use iPad-specific menu bar features to render these buttons whilst preserving the sidebar button.
