What Happened?

Starting elementaryos-8.0-daily.20240916
The checkbox when right-clicking any item on dock, does not follow system accent color

Steps to Reproduce

-Start eOS demo
-right-click on any item on the dock
-"Add to dock" checkbox is in grey
-Checkbox is gray regardless of accent color used

Expected Behavior

Checkbox should follow system accent color

OS Version

8.x (Early Access)

Software Version

Latest release (I have run all updates)

Log Output

No response

Hardware Info

Running on Gnome-Boxes

This seems to happen only on X11, but not on Wayland. Note that the shade of the checkbox follows the accent color on X11 too.

Addendum:
Logged out. Logged in again (as in "try demo mode" again) - and the dock now follows accent color.
Even when changing in system settings, it switches immediately

x11 as well.
I do not know how to switch session type in demo mode (which could be a problem if people want the demo with wayland). Please do check if that peculiar behaviour happens on wayland
--> maybe the issue exists on wayland sessions, but because the first login was x11, you did not notice ?
