It looks like we lost 128px HiDPI icons in AppCenter banners at some point. ~~@danrabbit mentioned it looks like we're missing a 128@2x folder here: https://github.com/elementary/appstream-data/tree/master/pantheon-data/main/icons~~

Oops, this is for AppCenter apps not first-party repo apps.
