cannot recieve emails

I am getting this error message when I am testing for the service: "412Gmail_API: Request had insufficient authentication scopes.". I am using a free account and my limit of per day req is being used. how can I solve this error

This means that when you add the Gmail service, you are not permitted to send emails on your behalf.
