I use the correct_rr function to correct for ectopic beats as I get very high RMSSD values. Our range of RMSSD is 10-180 (literature suggested this should be between 19-75).
I apply the systole correct_rr function to correct for ectopic beats and we get a new RMSSD range of 6.5-167, which is still very high. My understanding is the correct_rr function corrects only peaks labelled as ectopic. Is it possible to correct for very short and very long intervals also?
Thanks in advance and best wishes
Leah
