Assert or raise exceptions about CORS allow_credentials policy

On a MDN Docs:

For requests without credentials, the literal value "*" can be specified as a wildcard; the value tells browsers to allow requesting code from any origin to access the resource. Attempting to use the wildcard with credentials results in an error.

In a short, using like this may cause a CORS error:

from starlette.applications import Starlette
from starlette.responses import JSONResponse
from starlette.routing import Route
from starlette.middleware import Middleware
from starlette.middleware.cors import CORSMiddleware

async def homepage(request):
    return JSONResponse({'hello': 'world'})

routes = [ Route("/", endpoint=homepage) ]
middleware = [ Middleware(CORSMiddleware, allow_origins=['*'], allow_credentials=True) ]

app = Starlette(debug=True, routes=routes, middleware=middleware)

But we cannot catch this CORS error quickly; We can only check this error from client-side (browser dev tools or etc), not server-side.

How about assert or check these exceptions and raise error on server-side starlette app?
