For context: jellyfin-androidtv is a native app which doesn't connect to jellyfin-web (unlike the mobile edition jellyfin-android).

Is there any way to integrate this plugin into the Android TV edition of Jellyfin?

Additional context

Using a web wrapper (like Electron on the desktop) to display jellyfin-web would be the easiest solution. However, from my findings, most- if not all up-to-date frameworks use the Native WebView component which lacks a lot of codecs.

I think there is a lot of confusion about "what does what"

• A server side api is required for plugins and jellyfin clients Feature: Media Segments jellyfin/jellyfin#10530. So all comes together at this point
• With this api...
  • Media Analyzer can create media segments
  • Jellyfin Clients can get and use these segments
  • My management tool can help to view, create, edit and delete them

If the androidtv app uses an external player i don't know if they can show for example a skip button as overlay. But for sure they will figure something out
