On Ubuntu 20.04 with a VirtualBox VM entered into caffeine's list of apps to automatically toggle status of caffeine its gets turned on (aka Filled cup = auto suspend and screensaver off) when the VM is started. But after stopping the VM the "cup stays filled", caffeine doesn't get turned off again. Instead - it needs a mouse double-click to turn it off again. Usually it is turned on/off by a single mouse click.
