Enable this extension may cause gnome-shell being freezed on create new Unity project

Issue oiriginally from gnome-shell : Performance issue on Unity Editor: Whole desktop will be freezed for more than 10 sec when create new Unity project..

Affected version

OS: Ubunut 24.04 LTS

Appear: Both x11 and wayland.

Can be confirm that GNOME 42 and 43 will not being affected

Steps to reproduce

1. Enable Caffine extension.
2. Install Unityhub and install any Unity Editor above or equal 2022 LTS.
3. Create a new project
4. Open this project

What happened

When open this editor, the entire desktop environment will be laggy and freezed for seconds.

What did you expect to happen

When open this editor, the entire desktop environment will be smoothly.

Relevant logs, screenshots, screencasts etc.

Unity always freeze desktop environment when create project with caching assets. Unity Editor did not support wayland yet so it can be run on xwayland. Both pure x11 or xwayland will leads to freeze which can be longer than 10 sec.

But when I disable this extension, everything goes fine.

Device Setup:

• CPU: AMD R5 5600X
• GPU: AMD RX 6700XT
• RAM: DDR4 16 * 2
