Emily pointed out that offshore earthquake template regions need to be much larger due to large uncertainty in locations.

Azimuthal gap might be the way to catch this - check for Hikurangi events - use azimuthal gap of ~170 to catch offshore poorly located events. Add in the RT_EQcorrscan code itself.
