Check newsletter solution with Sanity

Could you please check how Sanity handle sending out their newsletters (the newsletters we receive)?
Also check if their solution only handle newsletters created as newsletters, or if it also can handle newsletters triggered by news publishing.
Please ask if they have anything documented on storage of email lists, and if we can avoid having any data stored or potentially sent to United States.
If the solution they use for their newsletters doesn't fit our purpose, please also ask if they know of any other Sanity users that send out newsletters triggered by news.
