API Documentation for writing a new Connector

Here in Western Australia we use Farmtek timing gear.

Is there any API documentation to write a connector to send the current time to Equipe? Is there any way that to get a test account to test/try this in Equipe?

I would be interested in more documentation too! I am using the Tag2Equipe bridge software to connect a TAG Heuer Chronoprinter to Equipe but would be interested in developing an interface that works on mac.
