Structure for implementing vocabularies

Hi All,

I am trying to set up vocabularies and my structure looks like this:

Folder structure

• styles
  • config
    • vocabularies
      • productABC
        • accept.txt
        • reject.txt
  • company-styles
• vale.ini

Vale.ini file contents

StylesPath = styles
MinAlertLevel = suggestion
IgnoredScopes = code, tt, img
SkippedScopes = script, style, pre, figure, code

Vocab = productABC

[*.{md,rst,h}]
BasedOnStyles = company-styles

However, when I run vale, it does not seem to recognize (i.e., flag variations) of the terms defined in the accept.txt file.

I am using vale version 3.9.3. I'd be grateful for any advice on how to fix this.

You need to include the Vale style:

BasedOnStyles = Vale, company-styles
