I think you can quite easily achieve this with some refactoring to esp-wifi. esp-wifi is currently only catering to bare metal users, so there are a few modules etc that you won't need, that you'll have to write for TockOS specifically.
That's probably the bare minimum, there may be other things you wish to replace/rewrite. For example we have many mutex and semaphor impls meant to replicate the freertos ones which you may wish to replace with a tockos impl. It would be nice to see esp-wifi running on Tock :) |

These projects seem almost amenible to embedding in other operating systems -- in particular Tock. However, the gap hasn't quite been closed, and it's not clear how to get
esp-wifi
working under another opetaing system.For example, what blocks does wifi require access to? I suspect the MPU will need to be configured to allocate the correct ranges.
How do we wire up the timers, and what callbacks do we need to add?
In particular, what are the knobs and handles that we need to incorporate?
