cannot insert version.dll in balatro steam files

i just finished finally installing a mod on balatro and then suddenly version.dll disapeard from the balatro files that are accesable throug steam and i cant get them to get back where they belong (it says i need admin permission to copy that into the game and i dont have that admin permission it wants so it doesnt get copyd over and my mods dont work ) has annyone got any idea on what i should do?

Edit: I did all the steps as described for windows but it cannot be inserted into the balatro steam files even thoug i followed the steps on how to do this and it worked on initial installation but it wont get copyd into the steam files at all how do i fix this problem?
