Are there plans to integrate key vault for signing transactions?

I'm thinking of a direct integration with cloud provider vaults like Azure Key Vault or AWS Key Management Service to natively sign transactions.

Is there any interest in this functionality? Happy to investigate and contribute

I think for any specific functionality you can write your own custom class like AwsSigner or AzureSigner by extending the Signer class. You can find some notes in the docs about each methods you need to implement in your class. You can also publish it to npm as an ancillary library!

Exactly! This is a great candidate for a third party library that uses and can be used with ethers. I would absolutely add links to the repos and npm packages for these sorts of libraries in the documentation and the repo readme. :)
