Implement option for static and active collections

Ideally we can speed up the catalog generation by only updating active collections.
Need to investigate how to do this, we probably need first to retrieve and load a previously existing catalog and then run the update only on active collections.
The generator would need a flag to also allow full re-generation if some attributes or structure changed for collections
