@jwu LIKE Shougo/neocomplete.vim
When neocomplete displays candidates, this option controls
whether neocomplete selects the first candidate
automatically. If you enable this option, neocomplete's
completion behavior is like |AutoComplPop|.

o~~k~~~~, looks difficult to me to implement this. the ex-autocomplpop is just a fork from autocompl in Bitbucket.
