This should be posted in Q&A in discussions

I only know that "-a" can display files starting with ".", but this also shows hidden files.

(Some files starting with "." are not hidden files,I want to configure it so that files starting with "." that are not hidden files can be displayed.)

Presumably they're talking about Windows where "hidden" is an attribute on the file rather than inferred from the filename.

For the sake of consistency, eza does also consider . files hidden so there are multiple ways to hide a file.

I am working on Windows. In eza, is the display behavior consistent for files starting with "." and system-hidden files? In other words, are they either both shown or both hidden (when using eza commands)?
