The sidebar and the index

Do we need a sidebar? See navigation: #12 (comment)

Would it make sense to flip the sidebar and the index (index to the left, sidebar to the right)? This would put the sidebar in a place typical for non-wiki/wordpress sites (like the current fablab website) and the index in a place typical for documentation.

The current sidebar is borderline useless: It currently only contains page and site tools and neither belong there (page tools have already been moved, site tools are so far still available in the footer toolbox).

However the sidebar may be used for interesting links and widgets as well as Navigation in the future.

It also somewhat clutters the reading experience, so it should probably be collapsible.
