Builds are completing fine, but deployments fail with the following errors:

oc get project pr-228-fabric8-online-docs | grep Active— Shell Script1s
    [_fabric8-online-docs_PR-228- RD6YX7R6XULMPVRCBSSMBPN3UMRSHLMGZA7UXKXBBLTMPTKYQX6Q] Running shell script
    + grep Active
    + oc get project pr-228-fabric8-online-docs
Error from server (NotFound): namespaces "pr-228-fabric8-online-docs" not found

and:

oc new-project pr-228-fabric8-online-docs— Shell Script<1s
    [_fabric8-online-docs_PR-228-RD6YX7R6XULMPVRCBSSMBPN3UMRSHLMGZA7UXKXBBLTMPTKYQX6Q] Running shell script
    + oc new-project pr-228-fabric8-online-docs
error: open /root/home/.oc/cd.conf: read-only file system
    script returned exit code 1

See, for example: https://jenkins.cd.test.fabric8.io/blue/organizations/jenkins/fabric8io-auto-rel%2Ffabric8-online-docs/detail/PR-228/1/pipeline

@aditya-konarde, could you please have a look?

Not sure if this is related, but sometimes, PR builds are not triggered at all.

@aditya-konarde, could you please suggest who to tag on this issue?

I filed an issue and assigned it to me. I was working on it a while ago but got sidetracked. Will try to get this fixed in a day or 2. openshiftio/openshift.io#2977

@rkratky This should get fixed when fabric8io/fabric8-pipeline-library#396 lands. I'll try to test this out and get it landed tomorrow.

jaseemabid added a commit to jaseemabid/fabric8-online-docs-app that referenced this issue Apr 11, 2018

@rkratky Can I get commit access to this repo so that i can test the fix?

@jaseemabid Not sure if it's related, but our PR build deployments are still failing with the following errors:

[_fabric8-online-docs_PR-403-RO5NFHYWAXMRX3JXJQHCUOVDEZ2PIXGVBYTMNIU6AHUOIXYCNZEQ] Running shell script
+ oc get project pr-403-fabric8-online-docs
+ grep Active
Unable to connect to the server: dial tcp 8.43.84.244:8443: getsockopt: no route to host

and

[_fabric8-online-docs_PR-403-RO5NFHYWAXMRX3JXJQHCUOVDEZ2PIXGVBYTMNIU6AHUOIXYCNZEQ] Running shell script
+ oc new-project pr-403-fabric8-online-docs
Unable to connect to the server: dial tcp 8.43.84.244:8443: getsockopt: no route to host

we have been moving out of GKE Jenkins https://jenkins.cd.test.fabric8.io/, so we cannot fix this here. It would be nice if you guys could move to Centos CI Jenkins https://ci.centos.org/.
This is related to snapshot deployments which is being done by the planner team too, may be they can help you with what they have already done for them.
