Run dist-git tests on ELN builds #30
Comments
Could you please at least add an rpm-scratch-build-eln (non-voting) job to Rawhide PRs Zuul? The need to submit my own feels very old-school and adding new scratch-build jobs to Zuul should be quite doable. |
This is on the list, but I've been swamped. I'll try to look into this in the next week. |
@bookwar As we discussed in IRC today, could you look at the code from DistroBuildSync and see if you can get an ELN scratch-build pipeline up and running? |
I keep getting ELN/RHEL-related PRs by @yselkowitz and it is really tedious to git check them out and submit an ELN scratch build manually to verify the package still builds in ELN every single time. Could you please prioritize this? |
This is on track to be implemented hopefully by the end of next week. Sorry it's taken so long. |
Zuul has been doing ELN scratch builds for rawhide PRs for a while. Anything left to do here? |
Run the dist git test (fmf, STI). |
Since ELN goal is to minimize the set of dependencies, ELN builds can not be fully tested via %check section of the rpm spec file during the rpm build
Preferred way:
On pull request to Fedora Rawhide dist-git, create ELN build and run dist-git tests for it. Provide feedback to the PR
Also possible:
On ELN build run a dist-git test and provide feedback to Koji
