As of Fedora 40 we now produce a simplified-provisioning iso, we should add some basic testing to OpenQA to ensure its working as expected.

Current documentation - https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/iot/booting-the-simplified-provisioner/

Test should include:

  • Configuration test with ignition
  • Configuration test with FIDO Device On-boarding

Thank you for addressing this, I am just trying to understand the Fedora IoT configuration mechanisms and this will be really useful source of documentation, please include testing for both x86_64 and aarch64 machine types, If I can help in any way let me know.
